Now more than ever!

The children, youth, and family programs at our church touch all of our members and also the wider community. From musicals in the sanctuary and at nursing homes, to the Amazing Grace that hosted over fifty children and youth from area churches, our programs help children, youth, and adults grow and flourish. These activities are successful only with contributions of time, talent, and resources from our congregation. More than 35 volunteers from the congregation make possible four different grade levels of weekly Sunday school. The BOUNCE, SAGE, BBQ, and GAS age-specific youth groups and bible studies programs are blessed with dedicated adult leaders from our church. Confirmation classes, the Children & Communion classes, the FiGS family program, and intergenerational events help to maintain close relationships with children, youth, and families.

Coordinated and led by Jeff Rabe, our Director of Christian Education for Children and Youth, the programs at First Congregational Church have grown and flourished. From curriculum that helps our volunteers lead Sunday School classes, to youth retreats, to church camp scholarships, our congregation has supported this growth. Now more than ever, it is important for us to commit our time, talent, and financial resources in support of these activities. Pledge cards for support of our annual budget will be mailed in early November, and we will come together on Stewardship Sunday, November 18, to celebrate our giving.
